I would agree with not really seeing the point of the post unless you wanted to show how treating people like shit when you seeking discretionary handouts usually doesn't work... Personally I try to live by "you catch more flies with sugar then vinegar" rule when I'm seeking something especially when you just handed someone, probably making like $3 an hour, your account number and password...
