Help me understand why this happened
Hey guys, I'm a new better here. Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge.

Today I signed up at The Greek to place some small bets. I sent a ** to their country. Two hours later the greek told me my name was blacklisted by **. I called ** and they said my name was not blacklisted by **. After calling thegreek back they changed their story to " my name is blacklisted by their funds processor (or something like this) and I can never use my name when sending money to this specific country ( whether ** or moneeygram) no matter what betting service I use. I have a very common name simular to "John Smith".

So what has happened here. Im lucky I used my real name because I was able get a refund but had I used a fake name and this happened, I wouldn't have been so lucky. So my question is "Why is my name banned for **/wester union in this country and what can I do about it?"

Maybe some1 used your name to send funds there to many times.

For example you said it yourself that you were lucky you had used your real name.

Many people use fake names to send money.

So many people may had send money down there using Your Name.

Thanks for replying. It is appreciated. I guess I dont understand the funds processor that the greek uses. ** and ** hasn't banned my name according to them. But the person who processes the funds for the greek has? Does this happen often? Is this processing service some sort of third party that picks up funds?

yes, they use third party companies that are in charge of picking the funds.

My guess is that maybe the third part company was stiff by somebody that sent the money using your name.
