total noob question here: from the SBR scoreboard

San Jose Sharks -130 4 final
Minnesota Wild +5.5 1

What is the +5.5 number? Is that the over/under number for the total score? Its the same for every game.

btw I took the Sharks @ -128 straight bet ML

its the over/under for the total. its not the same for every game as some teams tend to score more while other may play better defense. Although the total might be in the vicinity of each other as hockey isnt really a high scoring game, each game has a different total based on the two teams playing
