Should Members Be Required To Include Records When Posting Picks?

This topic has long been debated.

Some fellow posters believe that yes, keeping & updating records should required in picks-threads.

Others think it's unnecessary, that posting shouldn't be considered a job, and that it's not his/her responsibility in helping determine if other posters follow him blindly or knowingly regarding their overall record.

    Both sides have valid arguments.

I used to track & provide my record each & every day for years on the forums when posting my NBA plays. As a matter of fact as an example for those who don't include them in threads, here they are:

    2006/2007 NBA Record: 254-214-8 / +50.41 Units
    2007/2008 NBA Record: 166-143-1 / +31.32 Units
    2008/2009 NBA Record: 262-229-11 / +32.74 Units
    2009/2010 NBA Record: 289-242-8 / +96.12 Units
    2010/2011 NBA Record: 77-68-1 / -3.40 Units
    All Plays Documented On Forum

I think that some posters feel they'll receive too much negativity if they are losing.

It never happened to me, but I have seen many posters get critiqued for just that.

Seeing that happen is one of the bigger reasons I stopped posting my plays.

So since I used to post my records, I feel I have a right to an opinion on the matter, so here it is my friends:

I would recommend posters include their records as they will earn more respect overall for doing so.

But at the same time, i don't feel one should be required to do so & catch heat if they don't.

Even if they aren't including their records, most members are witty enough to know if another poster is up or down.

Lastly, let's not forget that at least they have the cajones to post plays.

    Your opinions?
