On 5dimes soccer, spread betting, I can't figure out what the -1/2, -1 1.97 means? I understand that -1/2 1.97 means you give half a goal and get a price of 1.97. What is the extra number for?

this question must have been asked a dozen times. this is asian handicap and you could have just hopped on chat and asked them as well. the line means your betting on -.75. if the team you bet on wins by 1 goal half your stake is graded as a win and the other half is refunded. if the team you bet on wins by 2+ goals your bet wins. if draw or the other team wins you lose entire stake.

Simple answer is 1/2 your bet goes on -1/2, 1/2 your bet goes on -1.
