A.J. Allmendinger’s 2020 return
Kaulig Racing confirmed that A.J. Allmendinger, who drove for the team in five races throughout the 2019 Xfinity Series season, is coming back for a second season.
They confirmed that the 38-year-old Los Gatos, California native is set to drive their third car, the #16 Chevrolet, in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 15 alongside full-time drivers Ross Chastain in the #10 Chevrolet and Justin Haley in the #11 Chevrolet.

Now they have confirmed that he is set to compete in an additional seven races throughout the year.
Allmendinger is set to compete in the other two superspeedway races: the race at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 25 and the other race at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, August 28.
