Been talking things over but yeah agree with Reigle. This contest and site they use imo is good and always fun and appreciated. LT does a really good job running it also.

And any other additional contests short or long would be a great bonus. Im sure others will have throe out opinions after the holidays prob. Dead season back here in the sub. Lol

Great news that the fantasy contest will continue.

For a second contest we could always go back to the old Head to Head picks game we had years ago?

With some SBR prizes that could good and is also an easy one for non-nascar people to enter easily.

The survivor pools Spider did sounded like a good idea but kind of fizzled.

Do we want the fantasy side bets pool again? That's not really a good money maker, just good to keep the group involved week to week.

I like d the survivor pool concept that Spider did, but it did fizzle out as Opti said. But thinking it might deserve a 2nd chance or a additional tweak maybe of some kind in structure or prizes????? Just a thought

Started refreshing my notebooks last week.

Gonna be a shit load of changes in all the series. Especially truck and Xfinity pit stops after those big changes.

Shit never stays the same anymore. Next Gen car comes out next year too

1.5 stays the same this year so i think it's going to be pretty easy to cap tbh

under 1.5 getting a new package to make it more competitive so historical results should be good for those

looking for a big year as long as i have any fukkin money to bet

If the NASCAR forum wants an SBR sponsored contest with some prizes.... it is now or never for us to ask for 2020.

I do not feel inclined to run the side pool this year.

the head to head contest was always good and I"m sure quite a few would sign up for it. plus it's easy for the novice to just make a guess and possibly win so may be attractive to the more casual fan too

The H2H contest was fun and would be fun agree with Rickie and Opti, especially with SBR kicking in prizes.

***We need H2Hs in the SBR Book. Pretty much Every book has those offered for all 3 series so SBR should too!!!!

Ok, I'll have a chat with Drew and see what we can extract from him

Basically, I am thinking pick 5 x H2H and race winner.

First tie breaker is best finish position of winner pick. Second tie breaker is whoever posted their picks in thread first.

Entry is 100 points for Pros.

Non-Pros can enter for as many points as they wish, and their prize will be whatever % of 100 points they send before race time.

Pros may also enter for 50 points for 50% of the prize amount.

Any left over points from partial prizes will jackpot to start to the next race's prize pool.

Prizes

First: 70%
Second: 30%

For SBR Prizes, I am thinking a Segment 1 prize after 13 races, a Segment 2 prize after 26 races, and an overall season winner prize after The Chase.

Weekly Bonus for 5 correct = X
Weekly Bonus for 5 correct + Race Winner = X x 3

Non-pro players are eligible for 25% of SBR prizes. Or can turn Pro before green flag of the 10th race in each segment for full prizes. For full season prize needs to be Pro before The Chase starts.

An additional Nascar contest would be cool and maybe some more offerings in the SBR sportsbook as well. I always enjoyed the side betting pool Opti ran but I'd probably play the new contest being proposed as well.

always do a yearly group with a different driver every week you have to pick, first come first serve come oh race day morning or the day before. So only 42 people max which really 20-25 drivers tops per race could realistically win.
Depends how many people are interested but scoring can be each position is worth points +/- race start to finish also.

maybe do 4 groups of 20/25 and the winner of each group makes a pick in the final race for the ship? i see we have about 70 in the sbr NASCAR fantasy league.
