It's apparent that Mikey's charisma wasn't enough to keep this team afloat. Losing NAPA after Richmond was the catalyst and Kaufmann saw the handwriting on the wall and bailed.
Unfortunately, it's not a big deal to Mikey since he now has his lucrative announcing career.
