Free pick=big $ on NASCAR Talladega race
I'm a big NASCAR fan but rarely wager on it.
However, I saw a free NASCAR pick from Brian Gabrielle on this website and it made sense to me so I played it...Stewart and Johnson (both about 5-1 to win) and Vickers (27.5-1). Fortunately, Vickers takes out Johnson and Earnhardt on the last lap and wins. I played a buck on each of them and came out over $2500 ahead .
Not sure if I should take my money and run or does this Gabrielle guy really know his NASCAR stuff? It definitely was a lucky win but Johnson and Vickers were running 2 and 3 on the final lap which gave the picks validity.

Since I don't follow auto racing period that much, I can't say if Brian Gabrielle really knows that much about it or not. But after I posted that story early Sunday morning here, and then heard that Vickers won, it piqued my interest a bit, too.

I'll make sure and keep an eye out for anything else he puts out on NASCAR and get it up on our front page, rob.

I had Earnhardt to win in that race and about had a meltdown when I saw Johnson slide into him with a lap to go!

Willie, thanks for putting that up on Sunday. Obviously, my windfall is due in part to you. Normally it seems that these types of plays don't pan out but fortunately this one did.

I saw that Gabrielle had another winner on yesterday's race. He had Kahne (5-1), Johnson (5-1) and Earnhardt (15-1). Kahne won, Johnson was second and Earnhardt fourth. Nice picks.

So he risked 3 units and to win 3 units. Glad he won and all, but when I'm betting outrights, I like a little better comeback on my bet than even money.
