Day or Night teams in AFL...

Does anyone know whether teams are affected by having to play at a different time of day from their usual?

For example, a team that usually plays on Saturdays at 1:30pm suddenly having to play Saturday 7:30pm at night. Does this have a bearing in AFL, perhaps other football codes?

I don't think so, if it did it wouldn't come anywhere close to the effect from being an mcg home team having to play at etihad. Even that is minor these days.

No, unless you went through the data and had a look for some kind of minor correlation (tough with all the other variables at play), being under lights doesn't affect how certain players or teams play from daylight. Only weather conditions have a noticeable impact.
