Ok here's the situation...

A mate of mine reckons the sharks are a team that will finish in the bottom 4 of the table this year. He is so confident that he offered me odds of $7.50 for sharks to make top 10, yes he gave me top 10 not the normal top 8!!!

So i put a lousy $100 at those odds

Is he a nutter or am I the fool here?

That's a tough one, titans, eels, roosters, raiders could be beaten, there's a chance all these bottom teams could have make a dash for it also, alot of talent but just not clicking yet, imo they will be bottom 4

Could pay to have a look at the draw for the rest of the season and jump on one of the ladder predictors

Could u also lay them for the 8 with a book then maybe fade or take them in the later rounds pending where they are eg 9th - u got 650 to play with ???

Betfair could also be an option if you want to arbitrage and guarantee some money, haven't used it for NRL so don't know what the market is like for it.

I'd love to be taking those $7.50 odds though, definite value given that Sharks actually have a good side when they put together a consistent game. Any team that beats St George has to have potential.

Game was played in a thunderstorm on a swamp and the Dragons has just been told Bennett was leaving at the end of the year. I wouldn't read too much into it.
