Tiger Woods Should be Lynched says anchorwoman

Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman has apologized after saying during Friday's telecast of the PGA Tour's opening event that today's young players should "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley."

A spokesman for the network said Tilghman apologized on Sunday's telecast and has reached out to Woods' representatives to express her regrets for the comments, according to New York Newsday.

Tilghman, who played college golf at Duke, works as the main play-by-play announcer during The Golf Channel's PGA Tour telecasts.

This to me is much worse than the Imus thing and she probably wont get into any trouble. I think that the meaning behind what she was saying was not in malice but she needs to think about what she is saying, when will these public tv and radio people figure out that other people do listen and watch.

I think Sharpton realized that he was up against a much more powerful african american man than himself.....With Tiger Saying he was not offended and pretty much told Sharpton to let it go and we have not heard anything since. Tiger would have 100 times the influence than Sharpton ever will. If sharpton would get on more soap boxes than just the ones that get him on tv then he would have much more cred, it is almost to the point where I cant even stand seeing him on tv.
