AFL ROUND 18 - EARLY LEANS

1. St Kilda - 31.5. I see this as a much bigger blow out;
2. Port +21.5. I still think the Hawks probably win, but 3 1/2 goals is far too many. Hawks are overrated and Port aren't as bad as they have been playing up until last week;
3. Melb +4.5. Why are Brisbane favourites?? I have Melb winning this game, even at the Gabba. I'll take the points for safety; and
4. Fremantle - 19.5. The only thing that scares me about this game is that it is a derby. Still, WCE have no pride this year and should fold. Will decide later if i'm playing this game. I might even go to it...

The other 4 games look to be too close to call (on the line anyway). That may change, but if i I play them, I think I like Syd +29.5 (got burnt badly on that, like many other in their first game this year...), Bulldogs -32.5 and Crows -9.5.

Agreed, especially on that Lions/Dees game. I'm a big Lions supporter but can't see them making a dramatic turnaround after last weekend.

Because Panthers points are based on the luck of the kick. There is a very good chance the cowboys could win this. There forward pack is pretty good and they are the worst team ATS in the league meaning their lines are going to be inflated which it is. Cowboys +11.5 is a lot of points if Cowboys get first try you start the game with a +17.5 handicap.

I will probably play 0.5 units on each pick tonight.

TONIGHTS GAMES

NRL

BULLDOGS v SOUTHS: Once again my DOG's do battle on Friday night....COME ON DOGS WIN WIN WIN....I don't know whether that is enough to get them through but I'M TRYING......Even with both games tonight being played in wet and/or heavy conditions I still see a lot of points in both games....In reality a BULLDOG will always kill a RABBIT so that's what should happen tonight...

TIP: BULLDOGS WIN.... 1st points SOUTHS TRY....OVER 42.5 pts...

PANTHERS v COWBOYS: This game could either be a blow-out or as close as things get....I'm liking the Cowboys with the start but even in the heavy conditions still see alot of points being scored..

TIP: COWBOYS +11.5 pts and OVER 44.5 pts...

as for last night... i can't believe i looked past the H2H record. it SHOULDN'T make a difference as they are different teams, but the bombers have a ridiculously good record vs saints. spewing at how wrong i got it. thats twice in a row on the saints...

I am only playing 2 units but Port Adelaide showed me a lot of fight last week and if they lose they are not getting blown out. Hawthorn have two forwards who can mark and get frees besides that they are so overated.

Like I always say three best teams are Geelong/St Kilda ( sounds funny after last night),/Western Bulldogs

Haven't looked at NRL yet, also when I ever say something like what I am going to say " Collingwood is kicking the shit out of Carlton" usually other team comes back.

Collingwood pressure is immense, I don't rate them but I am starting too, purely on pressure no one does it like them. Carlton are looking so bad and it isn't their fault
