    federer vs davydenko
at -1050, i think it is overpriced. davydenko has not lost a single set in this entire tournament. i was going to unload on federer, but now, i am thinking about just enjoy the game. it is going to be an excellent match up indeed

just curious, any brave souls taking davydenko at +900 on this game? starts in less than 25 min.

Fed owns Davydenko (9-0) - this match is tomorrow by the way. I say the only bet you should make is on how many sets it takes Fed to win. Davydenko might get lucky and get a set like he did in Australia, otherwise Fed wins and hopefully plays Djokovic who I think will provide a better match if he gets by Ferrer.

Indeed it will be a great match, however it's not played until tomorrow morning. I wouldn't touch either side, but one to look at is Roger not to win 3 - 0. Probably the safest bet for the odds that will be posted. Just looked and they are not out yet, probably will be later today.

oopse, my bad. i always read the time wrong on non-NFL, MLB games.

yeah, at -1050 even if you lay couple of dimes, you only get couple of nickles back. besides i have a feeling davydenko might actually win this thing. i was betting on him during the french open.

davydnko played him tough at the French. i think Federer had his tough match against Roddick, and he rolls, but - 1000 is too much to lay

exactly, if you look at the past matches for federer inthis tournament, he goes to 4 sets a lot, and there are tons of tie breaks. now if you look at davy's games, straight sets with clear winners. i think davy is have an easy time advancing to this point. like you said, after beating roddick, federer might not be 100%...but is it enough to beat davy?

+900 seems like a good play here.

I think if you want to throw away money on a dog - take Ferrer. He has a much better shot at KO-ing Djokovic than Davydenko has of taking a SET vs. Fed. Ferrer could frustrate Djokovic if he can stick around by taking a set early. Only bet I see worth while in the Fed-Davydenko match is # of sets for Fed to win. I think Davy might get 1, so Fed in 4 for me.

You can play Davidenko over Federer and consider this a lottery ticket.
