If you can get a bet in for Robert Allenby to finish in the top 10, take it. He's got a phenomenal record at the Honda Classic and is always in the running. Also, he's off to a hot start this year. If you can get this, take it.

I played Matt Goggin last week to be low Australian at Phoenix and he was 5 shots behind Allenby going into the back nine (-7 vs. Allenby's -12) then Goggin shot -6 on the back nine to end up -13 for the tourny and Allenby ended up -11 whoopee for me! (all the other Aussies were far behind) But you're right Allenby is playing very well, actually since the beginning of last year. He's never won on the PGA tour though and does have a tendency to choke up if he's in contention which adds more risk to betting on him for a top 5 or top 10 position but talent-wise he's certainly one of the premiere players around right now.

He has actually won twice but the last one was 9 years ago. Since then, he's been a money-making machine who just can't get the job done when it comes to winning a tourney. Back in, I'd say around November or December, I believe he won 2 tournaments overseas (maybe just one). He's been hot ever since as it has carried over into the new pga tour season. That on top of the fact that he has 4 top fives at the Honda, including the last three years makes this a very good bet.

Looks like the top ROW's (rest of world players) have shown up for this one, McIlroy Allenby, Westwood, Casey, Els, Villegas, Harrington, Yang, Garcia...I can't believe that Ricky Fowler is just about the most heavily favorite American, what is this like his 10th PGA tournament?

Hey guys for anyone who tailed here, Allenby had a terrible first round. The course is extremely difficult and the conditions are always tough there with the wind. He's going to need a good second round to make the cut, but it's certainly possible if he can post anything in the 60s.

This is one cool leaderboard with Kim, Villegas, and Vijay on top at the halfway point. Tiger who?
