Actually watched the whole game last night between Winnipeg and Saskatchewan. Things that I found interesting:
3 downs to get a first. ( Really 2 )
Field is wider and longer
2 or 3 WR's can take off before the ball is snapped
Far less commercial breaks. Saskatchewan scores a touchdown figured I'd go get a snack. Oh wait Winnipeg takes the ball at their own 35 and away we go.
I don't think either team has time outs. Clock is stopped briefly after each play and started. Made for a much faster game.
I enjoyed it. Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, but I'll be watching again later this week.
