I don't know if any reads these but I highly recommend taking Kerr tomorrow IF and that's a big if the comp is run at the box. It's a terrible line if so. How ever if it's at the main break at Magarets Medina is a deserved fav in the early morning offshores with his backhand attack although I certainly wouldn't rule out Kerr in those conditions he has a great record here.

Sure do judges loving the Parko hack this year ( as do I!). Even if it's at the box I still lean Parko he's just so good in those kind of barrels.

I'm with you and Parko to be honest I like Nat Young but how Medina is being scored so far is putting me off that.

Didn't bet the semi in the end. Looks more kerr like conditions now.

That final quarter was low quality after watching Slater and Parko, so many falls. Slater is going to smash Bourez.

Some dodgy judging happened there. That was one of those ones where I wonder why I bet on surfing.

Bourez did two big turns but fell on his last and still got a 9.3. Probably a legit score if he didn't fall but you can't give near perfect scores for falling off at the end.

Unlucky Yippa with Kerr (I was mad after the Kelly heat and stopped watching!) bet he would like that heat over, needed to post some scores instead of trying those crazy airs and turns earlier on.

Looking forward to Bells also, another to watch odds depending on where heats are. Teledo destroyed rincon last year but couldn't surf the bowl to save himself for example.

Was out surfing and missed all the action! Reading the fantasy surfer site it sounds like the judges are up to there old tricks, hate there dodgy scores there's some blatant ones. I wish there was more done about it but it's just glossed over time and time again. Hope none affected your plays.

I haven't seen much of the comp yet but did see Bedes heat and he was ripping again. Very solid play imo

I still can't access the asp site so I don't really know whats going on with who's surfing well and how they're scoring waves.

I'm not making any plays but to me Pattachia and Melling look good plus money bets. CJ Hobgood is a big price with a chance but if Wright gets going he'll be hard to beat.

Conditions didn't suit Bede at all this morning, Medina killed it but in the conditions as they are now I think it would of been closer.

Yeah she rips and her backhand seem solid, think she's surfed a lot of j bay. Lakey has those slides pretty dialled but I think the judges are looking for a style more like Biancas. I missed most of round 3 as I went for a wave also, damn waters just starting to get cold over here in NZ!
