    Fall Championship/ Orleans
Thursday starts a horse racing handicapping tournament in Las Vegas's Orlean's hotel. I'm ponying up 500 clams to take a shot at the six figure first price. Anyone else from sbr going to be there?

Ok Fine.Sbr horseplayers if you see something useful please post it. I'm a Southern Cal capper and will be against some sharps from the East coast. Tournament begins Thursday morning. All major tracks will be available for the 12 daily 100 point wagers. Most points by Saturday night should be worth a six figure payoff. Top 50 placings earn a free roll into the Horse racing world series event next year. Contest is win only! You got to be in it to win it.

I have about eight possible plays at Belmont and Calder . La Downs, Keeneland, Hawthorne and Laurel I plan to tote watch. I didn't see anything I really like. Just hope to survive today. They say you can't win these things on the first day but you can lose them. sfsg. Good night at the tables/ Got the entry fee almost covered. Battle time.

I got 10 minutes for the computer so one post only today. I have more $ this morning than yesterday morning! Wake forest and ponies were good , cooling off in table games, losing in slots. So for so good , no disasters. So for the tournament I'm far down the list. Computer guys mostly professionals lead the way. Best I could do was a second at belmont with a 24/1 shot. One winner on my card ! My best bet at 3/1. Plan today is to work California tracks and get some points for tomorrow. Using the Rays tonite. OUT

Saturday is the final day for the contest. I found a longshot winner at Golden Gate and have moved up in the standings. Got a shot to cash if I can put together a solid day. Using La downs ,Hawthorne and laurel as my main tracks today. Full fields big odds. Win or lose no regrets. Yesterday I dropped the ball with horses and sports but held the dice for 15 minutes on the chase to make the day a wash. Vegas is getting busier but it seems still slow for the weekend. Out

I finished 130th out of some 500 entries which was not good enough to cash. I found one $34.oo winner and had a shot with five bullets left but couldn't connected at the end. Those that came up with the Golden Gate $89.00 winner jumped over the second day leaders and took home near 90 grand. I'm alittle dissappointed but the experience was a rush and I plan to go again in April, God willing.
On the positive side the trip was basically covered with gambling winnings. This trip I was never down and had the entry fee, room, car rental and gas plus food covered. Horse and table games were winners for me , sports a small loser and I threw away 75 in slots. Vegas does give the player many options which kept me afloat at times. Its going to take a few days to get back to reality! There's no place like Vegas.
