I am not totally sure of what Hoffman did before he went to jail. He seemingly went to jail and took the fall for several people. Seems as though his grand son was mixed up in selling drugs and he took the fall for that but it might have also been income tax evasion for gambling . We will just have to wait and see and figure it out.

What caught my eye is that the cap matched the silks perfectly. That rarely happens. I had noticed it in the show as well and it just clicked.
The reason that the circles on the cap gave it away was because almost every cap is a solid color. Not when the silks are made but soon after putting the silks in the jocks room, the oddity caps are misplaced accidentally on purpose. This is because the colors guy has to account for every set of colors every day and he is racing against time especially if the same colors are used , washed and reused in the same day. He simply does not have enough time to spend matching up every cap to every silk. The caps are in a big bin and he grabs a solid color that matches. In that case , it would have been green or yellow but not both.
Watch the other jocks in the race next time and the caps will be solid . If they are not, it is unrealistic.
As a trainer in Maryland for more than 2 decades, this is the stuff I notice. Mr. Brown must know who I am if he knew Md. racing at all in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I prefer not to post it, but I am sure he knows of me.Comment -

Dustin Hoffmans character explained what he went down for to someone else in an earlier episode. His grandson had drugs in the house and the cops thought if they charged the grandson that hoffman would talk,about someone else, well hoffman said it was his stuff because it was his house and took the fall for trafficking i think the charge wasComment -

gotham longshot...been watching replays all morning of the horses in the race......like a horse to complete the tri at a price....hanse will be favorite...but not worth the risk.....like tiger walk..has the outside post...track will be better out there ..had a good race a few weeks back ..ALPHA WON.. finished solid coming from laurel in dec....so i just like him to chase down some horses ......what can i say....tiger walk....any thoughts on thisComment -
