Okay .... Belmont cancels live racing for Thursday June 9th because of weather.... VERY HUMAIN THING TO DO for these horses...( hope their stalls were air-conditioned )

What I want to know is WHEN NYRA said they were not going to run.......they knew this heat wave was coming....should of been reported two days ago IMO.
That way these horses would not be transported in the heat.

If they didnot ...something is very wrong.

Guess someone should tell them there will be severe thunderstorms on Saturday 6/11 ... SO NYRA can cancel now instead of waiting until Saturday.

Race Saturday's card on Sunday 6/12.
