More Derby Contenders fall

First we lost Premier Pegasus, and now
To Honor and Serve is off the Derby Trail.

Jaycito is out of the Santa Anita Derby
after not recovering from a bruised
heel.

Baffert said he may return in the Coolmore
Lexington Stakes on April 23rd and then the
Kentucky Derby if all goes well.

How many of the good ones will make it to
the gate in May????

I don't think the Santa Anita Derby will be a factor in the Kent.derby. Three or four of the top twenty will drop off the trail. Maybe more.

Premier Pegasus injury is a shock to me. I really thought this horse had a great chance. I know californias three olds may not seem as impressive to some, but pegasus was the standout. A real shame.
