worst pp's you can get. who could afford to print them even if theyare free. hard and confusing to read especially that top part is unnecessary. be a man and use drf pp's. formulator if you can afford them are the best without a doubt and will challenge anyone who disputes this.

Sorry - I found DRF to be primitive and lacking ... much prefer the Brisnet PP's myself.
Puts drf's overpriced half assed attempt at PP's to shame IMHO.

You have already stated many, many times on the racing forums that you lose constantly .. maybe it's because of the pp's that you use

Choice is good ... nice to see you have something positive to say about the game though for once .. even if it only for the pp's.

says on the very front page on the right hand side there

              "** FREE Ultimate PPs **
in February! Take advantage of our biggest special of the year"

... it links to the ultimate PP's with comments .. so I assume that it is for all tracks .. without the need to make a wager anywhere ... for the whole of February ... have emailed them to confirm - will let you know if/when I get a reply.

They are cheap to print. Just get a laser printer..Put it on draft mode. They can be hard and confusing to read. It will take some time to learn what all the information means. But they are the best pps around imo.

Thanks for the link. I used to have trouble handicapping off the computer, but used to it. Would still prefer to have the paper in hand, but too costly.

I agree Black and white laser printer is the way to go. Look for the paper on sale each week and you can pickup 5k sheets for $30 .. two toner cartridges .. good for 5200 pages = $50 ... $80 for 5k pages ain't too bad IMHO.

I can get around 150 full race cards - ultimate pp's with comments (around 40 pages per meeting normally) for my $80 (works out @ around 53 cents per card to print it out)

Having said that - I've gotten used to working from the computer/laptop for the most part and taking notes in a regular notepad separately.

I used to print out all the tracks I was going to bet on for the day. Then my five year old dell lser printer took a shit. So I just started reading them off the screen. Finally got around to buying another laser. I don't print out nearly as much. Got used to reading it off the screen. By the way. I printed out over 100,000 sheets from that dell laser printer before it finally died on me..Laser printers are much cheaper now compared to 5 years ago..That's the only way to go. Inkjets should be banned. They are a waste of money.

Brisnet are a vastly superior product to the DRF print. There is a wealth of information available in them that you just don't get on DRF. Their pace figs, pedigree info, class ratings, and track profile are all relevant factors that you just can't get elsewhere. I think the hesitancy to use them comes from old school guys who just want the raw fractional times and Beyers, which just isn't enough nowadays. If you can't afford to print on plain white paper, then you probably shouldn't be betting.
