Wachiwi bucked Junior off just before loaded into starting gate. Stewarts and Vet checked horse over and scratched him.
The Favorite #7 bore out in the homestretch into the path of #4.. #7 wins race but gets DQ'd

jan 2nd, todays play at aqueduct Race 4 6 THREE IN THE BAG (PEDROZA) | JACOBSON 3-1..... not much of a price but this 9yr olds best game is speed and he clearly has the best early foot in here, runs best when left alone on the lead and it just seems to be the scenario happening here with top threat (5-2) ml favorite marina market picking up dominguez but 10 lbs as well while jacobson turns to a bug boy and will be spotted 5lbs to the entire field.Comment -

a little biased that ive been on this one practically every mutual start but his earlier efforts were under another trainer and i believe victor santiago who cost this guy a few wins lagging too far back, now hes 2nd of the claim from the hottest barn on the grounds in englehart who has teamed with velasquez well lately, should be closing late into what may be a contested early pace with the 1,4 and 6 not to mention the 2-1 fave #1 reign king is coming off a layoff, draws the rail and has the worst jock in the race. if a hot pace develops this guy should be there, if not he may be staggering home around 3rd, but too many positives for me to pass up at this price.Comment -

1/15 total shot in the dark here but Aqu r9 #6 Smarteralex 20-1..... have bet this clown several times before in the past with no real cashes, dont have the form in front of me but hes still a maiden must be going on 50 to 60 races by now, has shown some run in a few but never gotten the job done and in others he just doesnt look like he belongs on the track, if this guy ever hits the winners circle he will be paying balloons and it would happen in a low low spot like this with very few horses that you can circle and say hes gonna give a big effort, trainer Cedano runs amaro the bugboy to get a slight advantage, just think the days are dwindling for this one, if hes ever to win it must be soon, i mean the 6yr old is a gelding how else can he impress the ladies but to win one race?Comment -
