The analysis below is not mine but from a veteran punter that has has long time ties with the trainer: I have gone with Bsharpsonata for a couple wins..why stop now!
Here's a race analysis. Informed Decision, J.Z. Warrior and Robbie's Gal are all very close, having raced together on multiple occasions, trading positions in blanket finishes. Significantly, Bsharpsonata has faced only one of them, Robbie's Gal, who she buried by 8 1/2 on New Year's day at Calder. Thus, on paper, it's hard to use any of them on top of Johnny's filly. That leaves only Game Face, the morning line favourite on the strength of two very fast sprint wins, the last in a GR2 at Gulfstream on Jan 8th. She's from Pletcher's barn and has Johnny Velasquez aboard, so she'll take all the money. However, one wonders where the hell she's been for the last two months. Also, she's never been farther than 6 1/2, so her route going ability has yet to be determined. Finally, Pletcher and Velasquez haven't been doing all that well this winter. Fairbanks, at 6/5 went down yesterday in the Gulfstream Park Handicap against a pretty ordinary field, for example.
Johnny reports that his filly is doing great in the AM, so those hillbillies from MD may get the money again. Should she win (or at least run well), her next stop is the Ashland at Keeneland and then on to the Kentucky Oaks the day before the Derby at Churchill.
