Glad to see that you have taken the contest back to win / place .... It's a good contest and doesn't need to be tweeked ... In order to play exactas in a contest , they must be played were you can post up to post time ... late scratches will take players out of the race and is unfair in my opinion . The 6-point contest is a fun contest and I think it is just fine the way it is ... Thank you very much , mikemca . FYI

Just a heads up on Delta Downs. On Saturday 11/20/2010 their first race Post Time is listed at 1:00PM.. However, Brisnet handicappers are saying the feature 7th race posttime is 4:15 PM Central.

So...First Race Post Time might be 2:00 PM East Coast Time (?)

In any case, good luck and enjoy the 2 year olds.

The winner of the 7th race is guaranteed a position in the 2011 Kentucky Derby if he so wishes.


Right now I am thinking Mark Casse's trainee (#8) can beat Bruce Levine's trainee (#6)

I agree with scratches being a problem.Its definitely more competitive with just w/p .

6-point contest ,we might say "race" is open company , if you feel up to the task then saddle up .... 1st transfer 6 points to mikemca in the top of this post .Just post all of your picks before the 1st race starts , select the horse you like and then give us an alternate in case of a scratch .... if both horses get scratched then you will be given the post time favorite .Remember to give us a best bet in the race that you like the best . This best bet pays double on your win / place wager ... Good luck TEXAS MICKEY !
