I really getting tired of getting beat up at the sbr poker room every tourney. In the last 3 tourneys i got knocked out with similar bad beats. Always happens within 1st 15 minutes of tourney everytime. Last night i had aq and the flop came qq9 guy bests 100, i raise it to 300 and he goes all in. I call, thinking hes on a open-ended straight draw. We flip them over and he has pocket 9's and of course the turn and river comes garbage-garbage game before that i got took out when i had aa preflop by 222 anybody having any luck over there?
I dont think i've lasted more than 20 minutes in any tourney there in over 10 games

maybe next game, i will sit out for the 1st half hour then i will last a bit longer lol

With tournaments where the blinds go up so fast your best bet is to push/fold preflop.Having a big stack is a tremendous advantage.If you are pretty sure you have the best hand pre get as much in the middle as possible and let your opponent make the mistake .If he gets lucky so be it .Turbo tournament play is all about pushing small edges over and over.

I'd say Keeneland again because Belmont has a lot of turf races scheduled which will probably be moved to dirt with a lot of scratches and Hollywood has small fields and the time of day is a problem.Plus there is only 4 days left of the Keeneland meet.
