Anyone follow how the odds move when they make bets? Any techniques they care to share?

#2Well, I always do a good check of the late odds vs my handicapping. When I see a horse getting bet down that , according to my handicapping, isn't much of a threat, and I'm sure the publics not on, I take notice. Usually it will be a horse with spotty running lines or maybe a shipper that hasn't impressed at his former track. That tells me his connections believe in him for this race. It's risky to ignore this situation, especially in the exotics.Comment -

#3Neila,
Thanks for the response. I ask this question because a few weeks ago I talked to an ex-horse trainer and he told me that shady things go on at the track all the time. He told me to watch the odds, especially in harness racing. It seems to me that everytime a horse goes from like 4-1 to 3-2, 1-2, etc, that they winComment
