#6 EWA is my pick of the day, however the great breeding & connections have washed out jockey Jose Valdivia from So Cal who can sometimes come through ONLY on the turf. I'm singling & hoping for a good ride.

I gotta go with #8. Waltzing Bear. The long break without a warm up run concerns me .. but if running up to last race .. should sit mid-field and have the best finish of these ... wouldn't be a race i'd throw lots of money at though.

Ran a decent time last in last race .... about 1:46 for the 1m 1/16th ... that is pretty much on par with the #4 and a few lengths slower than the #2 (that I think will need the race) .. drops from Maiden to Maiden Claiming ... had speed to pick up in last race and came about 6 wide ... could not carry the speed to the line (was an extra 16th last time out)

I like the #1 at a shorter price .... but would want around 4-1 for the #8 to place in the top 3 before i'd actually put any kind of money on this race .. and even then it'd probably only be $5 .. just to have something to watch.
