Jockey Scott ''Gary's brother''Stevens takes bad spill at Canterbury

Scott Stevens who's Gary's older brother took a spill on a horse that broke down while in the lead over the 4th holiday at Canterbury Park in Shakopee,Minnesota.I guess it's a bad one but he will live but maybe never ride again.For a journeyman jockey in his 50's to have a bad one like this,maybe it's a sign to retire.I met him a couple of times and he's a salt of the earth type guy.I hope he pulls through.

There was a bad one at Finger Lakes today.Involved 3 horses when the 10 horse tried to get position before the 1st turn.Pretty graphic they wouldn't even show the replay.
