    Advice on Tracks
Hey guys, I have a quick question...I'm a HUGE newbie at this, but went to the derby this year and have been hooked since. Mind you, I'm only betting with points on SBR for now, but I was betting at Delaware RaceTrack this week because I was able to download their profile sheet with alot of good information, and I was also able to watch the races live on the internet without "the man" (read: my job) block the content.

Now delaware doesn't race on thursday or friday. Is there another track that i could get that similar information without paying for it? I've looked at other tracks and can't seem to find valuable horse information that is free. Looks like most courses want me to pay for the information I get from Delaware for free.

    Thanks

if you open an account at one of the US horse racing sites (twinspires - youbet) you can get free info for any track that you bet $2 or more on .... You can find them if you dig deep enough ..... http://horseracing.about.com/od/race...aafree-pps.htm but it is never easy - and is probably just worth paying the $1 or $2 that they want for them.

You can usually get the programs for any track by going to their website...for Past performances and shit you'll usually have to pay

If you signup @ twinspires.com - I don't think you have to deposit in order to watch the live feeds ... do you?

I tried to sign up on twin spires but it wouldn't authenticate my registration. they wanted me to call an 888 number and its just not worth it. I just want to watch a few races today. I'm just surprised more than anything that they don't just have a feed.

Gotta pay for everything I guess these days.

weird .. not sure why they would need you to call them .... did you put a genuine social security number in the sign-up page?
Customer service is very friendly if you do give them a call - they don't seem to pressure you to deposit ....

You can watch on HRTV if you have dish network ..... not sure if Churchill has live streaming on their website once racing starts ....

I joined youbet. It was much easier.
Will I be able to watch video without betting on anything?

not sure - i thought youbet had a minimum spend to watch the video - they should give you at least the first few weeks for free though ....
