How can you NOT play at an exchange?
Just had a nice bet on MNR - R2 - #5 Cudjo ... had a nice $100 win on at eHorseX and after a little flirting I managed to get it all matched at around even money ... then thought i'd risk a few SBR points on the race too .... was trading at 4/5 so I figure why not .... race goes off .... odds change to 1/5 (someone had a 10k bet on the horse to win at the last minute) value in the race disappears and now i'm hoping horse runs well to save my points instead of hoping the horse runs well to win some points.

How can anyone bet horses NOT knowing what return they are going to get ... does not make sense to me ...

    Return on ehorsex

    $100 on - $197.60 back after commission.

    Return on the tote

    100 points on - 130 back ...

Have deposited twice .. never cashed out - but they are linked to CRIS i think ... ?
I deposited using a debit card and the fee's were nowhere near what I was quoted ....
Have never cashed out yet (I understand that cash out fee's are steep .. around $50) ...
I suspect i'm close to a cash-out right now however - getting close to doubling my last deposit so its almost time ...

If you only play $20 to $50 you should be able to get your action matched at any meeting.
I do see much more liquidity at weekends and at the bigger meetings .. you should be able to match several hundred on those days ... longer prices horses you can always beat the tote ....

I am often able bet 4/5 tote horses at 2.4 on the exchange ... I'm generally a chalk bettor who picks his spots and grinds away and i'd say 90% of the time I am able to fix my odds and beat the tote. I wouldn't bet anywhere other than an exchange if you are betting singles.

      I'd kill for a betfair account ....
