#3 Striking Dancer made a good late run to finish fourth last out over the Pro Ride behind Zenyatta, beaten 1 3/4 lengths by the undefeated mare. Two back this gal won the La Canada (G2), and either of her last two efforts should be good enough to handle this group. She checked in third here last fall over the poly versus Alw-2 foes, and has matured as a four year old since.

I liked the 3 also, but just wasn't sure as her speed figures weren't as high as i expect a Grade 2 winner to be. Not saying i only use speed figures to handicap though. I guess we'll see in a few hours.
