The thought of change is controversial currently, but I do not see any problem with the idea.

if the trainers and owners dont mind it, then i say go for it if it draws more spectators we need more people at vtracks and fans can see their horse better

This is the dumbest fukking idea ever. This can change the outcome of a race...horses aren't used to seeing other horses look like clowns. I'm sure more owners and trainers are opposed to the idea...I know HP is desperate because they are tanking but this is just retarded. "I bet on the green horse, thank God they painted him so I can see him..." Ridiculous. If you can't see the race get some glasses.

I can't understand how Hollywood Park is in the hole with being the only one with a casino... Santa Anita & Los Alamitos would love to have the casinos at there track!

I really don't see a downside to it except for the post parade and viewing the beauty of a natural sharp looking thoroughbred.

I agree ... Aprils fool joke or not - for those actually at the races ... unless you are watching the race on a screen (which takes you inside and away from the live action) its impossible to make out which horse is which until the final furlong or two.

Totally agree. So instead of jumping shadows, now they'll get to jump horses. Totally ridiculous idea. i'll watch a race or two just to see it, but after that the novelty wears off.
