AQU Race 8 OClm $25,000N1X (4:25 ET)
#7 South Fourth St. 3/1
#3 Endless Circle 2/1
#4 French Transition 4/1
#1 Commissioner Chris / #1a Next Day 5/1
Analysis: #7 South Fourth St. adds blinkers today after checking in fifth last out at this level. The gelding raced wide much of the trip over an inside speed favoring racing strip. The winner Mighty Morris came back to finish second in the $65K Kings Point and the runner up Most Happy Fella came back to beat state bred Alw-2 optional claimers in his next outing on March 19. This guy was in sharp form at the end of '09 but has not been able top recapture that form since landing with Toscano. The extra ground may suit as this guy has enough pedigree to handle the stretch out to 1 1/4 miles.
#3 Endless Circle went gate to wire to beat state bred $14K claimers by five lengths, his second win in a row. The six year old was claimed out of his last start by the Jacobson barn that is 15% winners first off the claim. The barn is having a solid meeting and has won with 2 of 6 first off the claim in the past month, both winners with Cohen aboard. The main question mark is whether he can handle the added ground and the light price.
