Here are the Live odds at this juncture

Taking a small shot with the #3 Final Gambit. Closed fast into a decent pace at 9F albeit on the tapeta at Turfway. Has never run on the main track but is bred for it. Ranks at 7th place on the Average winning distance rankings. If the pace melts down may be flying late. With 19 horses running I prefer to play a shot. Was 30/1 ML and currently at 15/1.

My main position is a 4 horse ex box. 3/8/12/21. Most likely will lose these plays but want to have some skin in the game for the big race. Good luck to all playing the crapshoot called the KY Derby. LOL.

using the post position stats provided by andy the 7-10 posts accounted for the highest 4 consecutive win % 's at 32.7 ..it's also surrounded by 2nd and 3rd lowest %'s in the 6 and 11 which imo adds something to it ..it's about a half % away from 20% of the posts accounting for 33% of the winners ..admittedly this covers my rooting interests of journalism and burnham square but still feel it is useful information to know ..bol everybody

There is little reason to handicap a Derby (rich strike wins @ 90-1, no handicapper in the world could have made the case) ... its just fun.

Rich Strike did have a win over the CD Main track earlier in his career. But yeah tough horse to figure. THE Derby is a crapshoot for sure especially with 19 horses running the longest they ever have. Good luck maybe your system will score.

I really haven't followed the undercard with the slop but that's a really good attempt to say the least ..the 9 was a good price and you would've had something nice to root for in the derby..hope your doing well and bol with whatever you have going
