The only reason why she would run again is to set up a race against Rachel. The connections have another very good filly in Stardom Bound, going today in the Encino at Santa Anita (7/2 ML). Zen has proven that she was the best older horse, and Rachel has proven that she was the best 3 year old last year. Now it is time for the showdown. The question is where?

Zen ran a 48 flat 4 furlong "handlily" work last week at Hollywood Park. That was the latest in a series of workouts, all 4 furlongs, and all with increasingly better times. Her first two were "breezes".
