    Wednesday racing plays
Still steaming over that Hollywood DQ on Sunday, but some good races on July 4th.

Race 5 at Calder: No. 9 Rehoboth w/ No. 4 Cherion. Rehoboth is 12-1 on the ML and a bit of a stretch here since he is 0-2 on turf. But his running style seems to fit this type of race and I think the favorites are beatable since a few are coming off layoffs. Small play on the longshot.

Race 10 at Belmont: No. 2 In the Spotlight. I had this gelding in his last start at 31-1 and he led with 100 yards left only to get nailed by the two favorites. Cuts back to 7 furlongs and should offer some value as he tries to break maiden. Favorite will be No. 13 Dubliner but he's got to draw in off AE list. Beaten favorite in last four races.

Race 9 at Belmont is the Dwyer. I'm leaning toward Nobizlikeshowbiz, but he's always overbet so will have to watch the tote. I didn't think his Derby effort was that bad. He got bumped around pretty good in most of the race. Sightseeing and Any Given Saturday should get some play and a couple new horses are possible. Should be value somewhere in this race if you're tying to beat Nobiz.

Race 10 Belmont ... I like #12 Jelly Roll Rumble in here ... Been off since Dec. ... Ok works ... Garret Gomez the jock ... Has some early speed and may be sitting 4th or 5th ... 9/2 ML is relatively attractive despite being off 6 months.

Race 9 The Dwyer ... I'm going with #6 Any Given Saturday ... Pletcher and Gomez ... Steady good works since the Derby.

Race 8 Tom Fool ... I'm going to try and beat the 7/5 ML #6Commentator with #4 Rondo 4-1 ML.

I played Jelly Roll Rumble twice last summer and he came up short both times despite perfect trips. Just might not want to win but will score eventually. He'll be in my exactas.

In the Dwyer, will be interesting to see how AGS runs. I have a feeling Nobiz is either going to run great or be off the board.

          Sunday results

          Race 5 Calder: Ran 4th

Race 9 Belmont: Ran 2nd and didn't play AGS in my exacta.

          6 Any Given Saturday 5.30 3.10 2.20
          2 Nobiz Like Shobiz 2.70 2.10
          3 Sightseeing 2.10

Race 10 Belmont: Ran 1st but Jelly Roll couldn't hit the exacta (ran 4th). Horse won easy and should be ready and a good price when he tackles winners, likely at Saratoga.

          2 In the Spotlight 9.80 4.10 3.40
          13 Dubliner 2.80 2.20
          6 Legal Tender 5.70
