    Winter Racing
How's the current standard of racing in the U.S?
Seeing that it's winter up there, is it worth following this time of year or would you wait until spring?

    Thanks.

Some of the meaningful races actually start in about a month or so bud. Only your die hard horse capers are wagering right now.

I have never fared well in winter racing, but mostly because I can't win betting Gulfstream Park. I basically gave up there about 5 years ago and now only play the occasional stakes races. I don't fare much better at Fair Grounds.

Santa Anita would be my choice for best winter track. Always some good stakes races on weekends.

        Thanks fellas.

I see Santa Anita had a couple of stakes races on, one today (your time) if i'm not mistaken.

Calder too. Don't know much about that track though.

Can't hurt to keep an eye out i suppose.

I've been doing well at Turfway since they added the polytrack.

Santa Anita has the best racing the first three months of the year.It would be the first place I'd look for should you chose to follow one track. I get the track feed via Xpressbet to my computer.Gulfstream is interesting in that its the beginning of one of the roads towards the derby.New York has the inner track racing which historically favors speed and horse for coarse angles.Oaklawn Park starts in feb.I haven"t figured out the polytrack yet, so I stay away from that>Keenland was a disaster but I found many winners on the cushion track at hollywood park
