Bovada has Become Unreliable for Taking My Action
I've been a regular customer of Bovada for over 10 years, without any big issues, with a very high ranking in their silly system. Lately, however, I've noticed they seem to be having very bizarre technical issues.

They've long had issues with their racebook superfecta menu timing out, which is extremely annoying and cumbersome. It doesn't matter what browser you use, or if you use their app. It's a grave problem, and worse, they don't care to fix this.

Lately, I've also noticed that their login is very unreliable, and routinely informs me that my password is incorrect, only seconds later to accept the exact same password and username. That's very odd, and I've been playing various offshore sites for 10+ years. To give you some idea, I purchased my first BTC in 2012, when it was around $400.

This login issue is so odd that I am beginning to wonder if they are trying to discourage action, possibly from certain areas. I ran into this many years ago, and it's often a signal that they don't want your action. In my case, I have no complaints to speak of, and haven't for years; so it makes no sense that it would be directed at me personally.

To top it off, last Friday, their BTC deposit menu was not working, and my guess is; it was overloaded, which was a bad day to be short on resources, especially hours before the big race.

I quickly switched to one of two competitors I have access to, and easily had no trouble making my BTC deposit, and remembering what it was like to have a superfecta interface that doesn't time out.

Shame on you Bovada .... you suck lately, and I bet I'm not alone in being tired of your crap. I won't advertise your competitor, but anyone is better, in my book.

After I sent them my complaint, their superfecta menu has miraculously stopped timing out, plus I was given a $50 bonus, which is well meant, and well taken.

Still, the login issue remains, which is a minor annoyance, but still very odd. The superfecta menu timing out was the bigger complaint I had, because it made it easier to make mistakes.

I don't think they are a bubble gum shop, I just think they need to buy some more resources, especially on big days like the Preakness.

I also need to make a correction, in my OP. I first purchased BTC in 2016, when it was around $400. What blows my mind, is that if I had simply saved all the BTC I purchased to wager with, over the years, I could have easily retired.

agree Terra agree to disagree here. I used to play at Bodog before they became Bovada. IMO a scared shop too high of risk aversion for my liking. GL.

Today, which is Saturday, I can't even login to Bovada, using any browser or their app. Of course, customer service has no explanation, and their WebMaster is MIA, apparently. If their explanation was they migrated recently to a new host, I could understand, but this isn't what we're being told.

According to various news stories that I've read recently, the U.S. Justice Department has been directed to go after Bovada, and since Bovada is exclusively servicing the U.S. market, interferring with U.S. traffic should be fairly easy. My guess is, this could be what is happening, with U.S. based ISP helping Justice.

I've suggested that Bovada create an Onion website, but I'll bet they aren't sophisticated enough to do that, or don't care to.

At any rate, the dark drama continues, with no end in sight.

Based upon what I'm seeing; my guess is, Bovada could be going the way of 5 Dimes, and flushed down the toilet, forever; so you might want to be careful about leaving too many $$$ in the Bovada bank.

Which brings something interesting to mind. Has anyone run into any offshore Onion sites that are worth taking a look at, since this problem may expand more broadly, for U.S. bettors?

Thankfully, finally Bovada came back on line, later in the day today. They also seem to have fixed their superfecta time-out issues, which is hopeful.

Today was the first day I had issues. It was awful. You could log-in, then not make a bet. Then, you could make a bet, but it would spin and timeout. Turns out, a couple of my bets went thru and lost, and I jumped to another site to bet them there.
