this race is 1 1/2 miles on the turf for $16k maidens lol.. fun races to cap vs a 6 horse field of straight claimers going 6f.. at least for me.. has only raced once this year in a maiden claimers 15k steeplechase and finished 4th by.. get this 98 lengths and it was a 10 horse field.. must have been a lot of falls.. what he did last year at higher levels along with his running lines and pedigree suggest this might be a good spot.. even relative to this level this is a bad bunch.. trainer has brought live horses here from a limited amount of starters
