saratoga
R1 #3 mo mischief (9-5)
R5 #10 red flag alert (5-1)
R5 #4 conglomerate (7-2)
2 horses R5
R6 #2 the right stuff (4-1)
R8 #5 holiday bonus (30-1)
stumbled at the start and did nothing last race running off about a 4.5 month layoff..possible he's just a hurtin'horse.. also worth mentioning he's lost at least 19 races in a row... but he's been running against better and his last 2 figures around 2 turns could win this race (although his last one was hugely pace aided). rosario jumps on to ride for the first time .. hmmm?
R8 #6 musical heart (9-2)
even turf effort last out and drops with a switch to dirt.. 2 of last 3 dirt route efforts bury this field and jose ortiz not staying on for no reason.. hey if you're going to drop and win why not do it at saratoga and really looks like what this horse needs anyway
I'd lean 60/40 to the latter to compensate for the odds disparity
R9 #8 midnight tea time (8-1)
ran well 2nd off a layoff 3 starts back and comes off a similar line last race.. fast pace could set it up nice for him.. no wins but runs consistently well up here
R10 #5 crystal ball (4-1) coaching club
R11 #8 perfect banker (30-1)
monmouth
R1 #8 zinger (9-2)
R3 #9 valid treasure (12-1)
R5 #1 sidereal (12-1)
R6 #1 moonlit sea (6-1)
R7 #10 total tap (2-1)
has won twice before coming off similar running lines..reward won't be great but stay with the pattern
R8 #1 no bull jack (5-2)
R9 #6 nay lady nay (5-2)
R10 #2 monongahela (3-1)
put this horse in a middle distance grade 3/listed stakes and as consistent as they come..worst effort was the result of being close to a wicked fast pace and still finished 3rd with a good number..only time here won the iselin (g3) running his highest career figure..chad brown/paco..hopefully 2nd half of this card chalky lol
R11 #9 paret (6-1)
like his last race not sure if anyone can keep him company on the front..pace very honest in that race ,a wire job at belmont at 38-1
R12 #2 authentic (4-5) haskell
boring I know but the santa anita derby effort last out much better than these and that's factoring in pace and beaten by #2 kentucky derby future horse.. I'd take a stand as a single
R13 #5 dubini (9-2)
R14 #2 royal flag (3-1)
