R3 #2 river nile (8-1) 4WP contest
workouts leading up to his debut were fast and went back quite a ways..expensive yearling purchase had a very useful midpack run and breaking from the 9 post in a 1 turn mile not the easiest of assignments first out... 3 horses in this race finished in front of him but could see a big improvement today for a trainer whose doing great at the meet and overall this year.. also interesting that a different trainer had him in his debut

R2 #5 woopigsooie (6-1)
R3 #2 fuego caliente (7-5)
i know short.. asmussen firster, three chimneys homebred with a nice pedigree.. not an elite sire (probably one of their's) but the bottom is fantastic both the dam and her production.. dam sire one of the most sprint oriented there is.. the counterpoint would be why didn't they run at churchill for the much bigger pot?? #4 (9-5) a viable contender and you really need someone else or the price on mine too low
R6 #4 celerity (20-1)
don't think last was bad at all off a 3 month layoff and vs the the same level of competition at churchill (meaning harder).. like the 3 races vs lesser in louisiana earlier this year.. disclosure that I am going against a horse that I commented about in str's thread today
R9 #12 sense you left (off turf)
looks line lone speed to me and only bad race was breaking from the rail and being pressed in a significantly fast paced race at churchill.. should easily be able to get over and get position with a field of 7 (they have that oddball chute that starts on the turn for this distance )
