Was expecting a much better card. 6 stakes races but only 42 horses, averaging 7/race. 2 Stakes with 5 horse fields. Very disappointing card in my eyes.

As for the Belmont, I like Sole Volante to win.

Totally agree. The card is underwhelming and lack of horses per race reminds me of Santa Anita a little bit. I think race 11 is the best race betting wise. Tiz should win, but Tap it to win has been impressive in his last two starts and will offer some value.

            Bump

Agree the Saturday limited-field Stakes lineups is very disappointing

Anyone have any other predictions on the Belmont Stakes?

Beware of #1 Tap It To Win, he has a legit chance to wire the field

The favorite looks to be the class of the race.

I will bet 1,2,4,8 superfecta box. Good luck.

The thing about Tiz the Law is that he still has room for improvement, and I don't even think he's run his best race yet. Tap it to Win, I'll be rooting for him behind Tiz as he'll need to have a perfect break from the rail. Dr. Post intrigues me the most out of the rest, but I'm going with Tiz the Law. If I had to take a longshot it'd be Max Player.

not picking but just pondering..as a surprise or more likely underneath in exotics

                      #6 foreleft (30-1)

                      the good races are obvious..

                      the bad

                      blinkers on..
poly track (wasn't horrible.. finished 3rd)..
                      turf stakes at del mar..
no real excuse g1 american pharoah stakes where he was badly beaten..

why ship this horse 8400 miles to dubai for his last race in februrary.. where he beat a field of 16 horses in a 1 turn mile on the dirt (out of a chute).. yes who knows who he beat but it was a 250k race.. also he won the tremont stakes here in his 2nd career race after breaking his maiden first out at santa anita

think there's some interesting stuff there but to me he's more of a good fit underneath in verticals
