                  Genuine Risk thought so.

If there was room for 1 or 2 more on that horse, little doubt that Hall of Famer from NY would have been one of the east coast riders.

Should have made room for Chris McCarron also but there I go being prejudice again.

and here's jacinto vasquez..calling him "decent" is insulting lol..I was young then and didn't have a sense of how good those two really were..just that they were the othet big guys besides angel..jacinto rode ruffian for the guy in my avatar..wouldn't have known that embarrased to say but maybe I shouldn't be as that was a good 4 or 5 years before I had started playing thoroughbreds

I was referring to jorge here while your post was about jacinto (genuine risk)..still mixing them up years later..so was there a steep cliff after those 3 in those days ??only other 70's ny guy with any notoriety i can think of is eddie maple..sure if you threw a name out I'd remember but off the top of my head I can't

migliore, robbie davis, bailey and smith not till the 80''s although bailey might have caught some of the late 70's..of course migliore and robbie davis solid jocks but not in the category of the others..think mig better than robbie without looking but those were the first two that came to mind outside of the stars (smith and bailey)
