inside 3 posts are gold at a mile at will rogers..this guy has raced 4 times all at a mile since 3/13 at this track..all solid efforts but 3 were post 5 or further outside and on wet/sealed or both tracks .. his one effort from the 3 post on a fast track he knocked heads all the way around and missed by a neck..hopefully stays fast as possible showers is the forecast.. broberg/cabrera also

really like what's going on here and consider it very unique.. 2 back ran a big race vs 10k beaten claimers at laurel with a troubled trip then last race beat 5k beaten's.. not quite up to open 5k's at laurel then ship to a lesser circuit and try it.. trainer/owner fantastic at repeating with claimers over a very large sample


R8 #3 blue moonrise (5-2)

a no conditions allowance race so asmussen can get in here with a horse who 2 starts back won oc/n2x at oaklaen and 4 back came 2nd in a listed stakes at remington..5 and 6 back broke his maiden at remington by 14 lengths and then got through n1x also at remington by 13 lengths.. remington the higher level oklahoma track.. also gets the 3 post at a mile ..rewards won't be great but lots to like if playing a horizontal


R9 #6 three chords (2-1)

statebred stakes and this one lost by <1 length at oaklawn last race to advanced allowance company.. 3 and 4 back a win at remington vs open allowance horses and prior won a statebred stakes there for $130k..today's purse 55k(lesser track) 5 back ran 3rd with a good figure oc/n3x opens at remington.. I would say that's definitely a tougher race than this

let me say I understand these two are going to be low prices but exceptional things going on with them so not going to try and beat.. fade away lol

so after writing what I did about outside posts in routes I play the 6 and the 2 beats the odds on favorite at 5-1..sloppy my middle name..not saying I would have played the winner just not the 6

I love Merlo’s Lad today. This sounds a little weird but the weather has been really nice lately and is in the 80s today. He absolutely hates the cold. That race is all about the 1,2,6. All the multiple winners against the non 4s.

on paper that would be a nice claim..I think of laurel as higher quality than will rogers and he's still eligible for n3l (hoping he wouldn't win his next race so still eligible for that condition)..also picks up a lot checks with his many itm finishes

only reason he's here is probably because laurel is closed..
i'm fairly certain the same condition at laurel pays significantly more which might mean it is faster .. that could present a good opportunity to pick up a horse that could compete here very well there
