    Pick 5/Pick 6 purgatory!! HELL??
On Friday I played the pick 5 or pick 6 at Laurel, Tampa, Aqueduct, Santa Anita, Mohawk, and others.

I hit one pick five that paid $200 for $0.50, big deal. I had 5 of 6 or 4 of 5 on every other ticket I played.

$10k, $12K, $7k misses by a race and it was a mid range priced horse that killed me each time. I had the longshots as I try and get the fave beaten in the first leg as it really helps the payouts, $26 winner, $28 Winners, $18 winners etc etc on the tickets and with a little luck I might have cashed four figures yesterday.

I must have wagered over $5k on the day total and ended up losing approx $200 - I hit a few supertfectas in the $150 - $650 range (on $0.20 payouts) that kept me in the game. Taking the weekend off as my brain is fried from all the action.

    Will try again Monday.

Heavy hitter? No I don't consider myself one. I mean I never played a pick 5 or pick 6 ticket for more than $118 and most were in the $40 - $80 range but I bet every race at every major thoroughbred track in the USA AND Mohawk Harness in Canada. Superfecta every race available and pick 5 or pick 6 too, so lots of churn.

So I had lots of winning gimmick bets and lots of losers to get me to churn $5k in wagers. My initial deposit was $350.

I love the pick 4 and pick 5 but I hear you it's tough tough....one whisker loss and it's so frustrating...My worst bad beat was at Monmouth thought I hit pick 5 for 16K with a jersey joe bravo last to first easy winner and all a sudden number starts to blink he came over a bit top of stretch and they took down.....Totally tilted me
