is yonkers the best 1/2 or 5/8 mile track in this country ?

    is yonkers the best 1/2 or 5/8 mile track in this country ?
    horses,drivers,purses and pools being the criteria..believe on pools it's probably a little better than some or most of the small tracks but not up to meadowlands or woodbine mohawk (pool wise)

    only bull ring track that you could argue is better though very short meet is in Delaware Ohio Lil brown jug

    back in the day I used to love the old sportsman park 5/8 track Boom Boom Marsh, Paisley Dave Magee, Tony Morgan

    Harrah's Philly or Pocono now the best 5/8ths Yonkers best 1/2

      that's what I thought (yonkers 1/2) but just wanted another opinion.. if I play the smaller ovals on occasion want to play the top one(s)..5/8ths wouldn't have known.. thanks littlekona

        I have had good luck at Northfield too esp playing the pic 4 there. If you can beat the 2 top drivers Wren and Merrieman they pay great...Yonkers has always been tough for me with all the freaking shippers in and out

          ok take that into consideration.. I'll always feel better about the bigger ovals and pools but maybe take a look at the smaller venues every once in a while
