    Longshots
I thought I would post this as a memory I had one Friday in 1996 when I went to BRD to bet on the simulcast feed from different tracks. The track was holding trials for their QH stakes and I had zero interest but while we were sitting watching the tv from the other tracks a huge commotion rose from the locals right after a trial race. I did not know what it was but I went to look and I noticed that a longshot won and he was 99-1 on the board. Well I knew he was even higher than that as there was a total of $2 bet on him to win. I finally went back to find the chart and after some searching I got it. Notice that there was not a place payoff on him. He had 0 dollars bet in the place pool. That was a lucky 2 dollar win wager, the largest I have ever witnessed.

Nice, I dont have a picture but one day I was the track with my dad and uncle. They were losing all day so before we were about to leave they went into the casino to play some slots. My dad ended winning $1000 on the slots and we were just about to leave but he saw horses were going into the gate and there was a 99-1 horse. He put 20 across on the horse and it won got back around 10k.
