Thinking about racing2day.com... anything to tell, bad or good? Please help, thanks!
I already have a few sites, twinspires and xpressbet among them. I'm happy with those, but I happened upon racing2day and in searching online I've not found any current recommendations or news (not much at all, and whatever I've found is 2009-11 primarily). I'm brand spanking new to SBR, so please help a colt whos not looking to become a gelding by way of a bad sportsbook experience! Thanks!

They are solid but they dont offer NYRA. Super sign up bonus as well if they still have it going. Prety much all legal US ADW's are solid. Dont think they offer daily rebates though.

Thank you very much for the reply, Slimpickens. Yes, racing2day.com seems to sport a pretty nice sign up bonus, along with some decent looking everyday % bonuses on certain types of bets, so much so that it/they made me think I'd better check this company out before joining to see if racing2day is also great, good, lacking or failing, in other critical aspects of their enterprise/ADW stewardship. Surprisingly, I have found next to nil posts online, on forums like here at SBR, about this horse betting portal. No fanfare about the bonuses, little insight into what their betting interface is like, and nothing about how quickly or poorly they pay out or how well they handle the customer service issues.

I appreciate your comments, and I'd really like to hear more, from non-customers and members of racing2day alike (if they exist!). I believe that anyone who values their connection with a site naturally has incentive to help perpetuate it. There are likely many potential betting customers like me who would help keep racing2day (or any other commercial site) staffed and in business with our new and steady influx of dollars/business if we only knew for a reasonable fact that this is in fact an upstanding entity we would be wise and happy to partner with.

You rarely if ever hear anything negative on Legal ADW's. If they are legal they are legit and your money is safe. I played at racing2day once and did cashout. Done very quickly. The difference if you didnt know about shops like racing2day or idabet and offshore is they dont care if you win. They just want you to bet to increase there handle. Thats why shops like these offer many more perks and rebates than sites like twinspires and tvg. They are simply trying to compete. I dont use them reguraly because they dont offer NYRA which is my main circuit.

Thank you, b2w! I hope to benefit from and contribute to this forum. Thank you too, Slim, for the additional insights. Your explanations are clear and they help me see the whole picture better.

Yes, racing2day, petptc, idabet, and the like, and the bigger, more established players, with them we have quite a few choices in U.S. based and regulated racebooks. They should all be safe, I understand, unless they are on the verge of bankruptcy or have fallen under some bad element. I am not alleging that any of these entities have an existing or pending situation like that. I guess I was and am just looking for some evidence concerning the relative or absolute health of racing2day, how their organization (and website) functions and how it treats it's patrons. Slim, your report of a quick and painless cashing out at racing2day helps me in my decision whether to fund my horse playing there.
