Breeders Cup 2014 at Santa Anita AGAIN!!

Pretty sure they have a Breeders Cup committee.They are thinking of making it permanently at Santa Anita.If they don't then it will probably alternate between SA and Gulfstream.It sucks but nothing anyone can do because Frank Stronach employs the chairman of the Breeders Cup so they are just going to have the races at Stronach's tracks which are SA and GP.

i dont know but i will be there again coming out from NY i loved it out there and this year im flying into vegas and my friends and i are staying at venice beach for couple weeks and comuting to the track which shoudln't be too far from the track. im also probaly gonna do some business with a company in ontario which i think is close to santa anita should be alot of fun

That really sucks, basically the committee is trying to decide SA or GP. I mean, I wouldn't mind Golden Gate or Churchill or where ever. It's just too bad.

Thats cool. We do have great weather here. If the breeders cup is elsewhere, then I could make the same kind of trip.

Or the speed bias fests .IMO SA and GP are two of the worst places you can have it from a bettors perspective but hey if its at SA a movie star might show up....whoopie

For sure. Dont like that they dont offer a one turn mile either. IMO it should rotate between the 4 MAJOR horse racing states.

Yes, definitely should rotate. It's good for the local economy too.

Why cant it go to Belmont? With the closing of Hollyrock Del Mar has added some dates in Nov, lol think its only 2 days wow you know what that means. they will proly host in 2015 after they fix turf course.

I feel the same way Santa Anita again. I loved when it switched around from track to track. It would not go to Gulfstream again because of the new layout 1 1/8th mile track and absolutely no seating.Gulfstream is not built for big crowds anymore do not even get me started on that stupid stronach turned the best Track ever Gulfstream into a mall with a racetrack around it and even wanted to take out the only original track left in racing the downhill turf course at SA.Anyway why cant they just move up the Breeders Cup to say Erly September then they can run it any where.Why not Calder or Woodbine Or Saratoga or Keeneland anywhere.September would be perfect.

fairgrounds in new Orleans could handle all the people and be a different site...who wouldn't enjoy racing and new Orleans?
